2025 WateReuse Nevada Conference

January 27, 2025
The Nugget Hotel & Casino

Reno, NV

We are pleased to announce that the Annual NV WateReuse Symposium will take place on Monday, January 27th, at The Nugget Hotel & Casino. This event is a cornerstone of our efforts to advance policy, technology, operations, research, and public acceptance in the field of water reuse.

As for our planned Program, we have secured Melanie Mow Schumacher, GM Soquel Creek Water District (CA), as our Opening Keynote! We are almost ready to finalize and publish the rest of the Program, but we anticipate having speakers from SNWA, UNR, and various agencies in neighboring states – Utah, Arizona, and Colorado! We also are planning a panel discussion “Pathways to Potable Reuse”, which should be interesting given the ongoing American Flat project in Reno and other reuse opportunities being considered in Southern Nevada.

We hope to see you at the WateReuse Nevada Symposium on January 27, 2025! For hotel reservations please call 1-800-648-1177, Group Code GNWRA25, or visit the Nugget website here

Tours

WateReuse Nevada is offering a half-day tour of the City of Reno/City of Sparks Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility and the TRI-General Improvement District, which provides potable water, non-potable process water, and wastewater services to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. Tour attendees are asked to meet at the Nugget Casino in Reno-Sparks, Nevada, at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, January 28. A light breakfast and snacks will be available on the bus. The tour will depart promptly at 8:30 AM and return by 11:30 AM.
