General Questions
What is the WateReuse Symposium?
The Annual WateReuse Symposium is the premier conference on water recycling — attracting water professionals and water reuse practitioners globally for knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration. The event is planned in collaboration with The Water Research Foundation and will include engaging sessions on the latest reuse-related research projects.
When and where will the Symposium take place?
The 2023 WateReuse Symposium will take place March 5 – 8, 2023. All Symposium sessions will take place at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta, in the heart of downtown. The 47-story hotel, designed by internationally renowned architect John C. Portman, Jr., features a striking building-height atrium, as well as grand conference halls, bars, spas, pools.
Does WateReuse have hotel rooms available for meeting attendees?
Yes. WateReuse has reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta, where Symposium sessions will take place. Find discount rates while they last here on the Symposium website. Because we reserve rooms in bulk, room rates are typically lower than hotels in the area and provide the convenience of being on site where most activities take place.
What activities can I do while staying here in Atlanta?
Atlanta is a lively and cosmopolitan city with plenty to do! Check out our Experience Atlanta resource with suggestions for food, accommodations, activities, transportation and more.
Can I earn professional development hours for attending?
Yes. Participants can earn professional development hours (PDH) for the technical sessions they attend at the Symposium. WateReuse will make a PDH form available to registrants. It is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure that these sessions qualify with your state accreditation agency, as well as to submit the completed certificate to your state accreditation agency to request credit. A PDH Request form is available at the registration desk and digitally.
