37th Annual WateReuse Symposium COVID-19 Protocols
In an effort to ensure that all Symposium attendees are protected and feel safe, please review the following information from WateReuse Association regarding our Symposium COVID-19 plans.
Safety Protocols
We request that all attendees use a facemask when indoors. Attendees may remove their mask while actively eating or drinking, but please put it back on when finished. Detailed information on the CDC mask guidance is available here. WateReuse will have masks available at the registration desk, for those who need one.
In addition to the facemask protocol, WateReuse is requesting that all attendees be vaccinated or have a negative covid test within 72 hours of attending the conference. WateReuse encourages all attendees to abide by these guidelines for the health and safety of our attendees and staff.
When you attend the conference, you will also notice that seating will be farther apart to allow physical distancing. For example, tables that usually seat ten people for lunch will now be set for five.
As a reminder, anyone feeling sick or displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, should refrain from traveling and attending the conference.
All in-person Symposium attendees are also required to complete a waiver.
Any attendee that tests positive for COVID-19 should report the result to Alicia Rutherford and follow the appropriate CDC guidelines.
