8:00 am: Breakfast Breakout: Recycled Water Certificates

In this smaller group session, we will present and discuss the concept of Recycled Water Certificates, similar in practice to renewable energy credits. The goal is to explore how such an instrument can be developed and formalized to enable the industry to facilitate incremental use of recycled water. These certificates need to be additional, quantifiable, long-lasting, proximate, proportionate, and cost-effective. Importantly, the use of recycled water should provide incremental benefits to the local community and utility.
