WateReuse Association, the nation’s only trade association solely dedicated to advancing laws, policy, funding, and public acceptance of recycled water, is sponsoring an art and TikTok contest about the water cycle and water reuse for students in the southeast.
Submission Deadline: Monday, January 6, 2023
All students in public, private, and homeschool students in the states of Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina are eligible. All students will receive a certificate of recognition and prizes will be awarded to winners in each category. Winning submissions will be showcased at the 2023 WateReuse Symposium in Atlanta.
Water reuse, also known as water recycling, uses technology to speed up the natural water cycle. Instead of using water just once in our homes and businesses and returning it to the environment, technology is used to clean it so that we can use it over and over again in our homes, in our businesses, and to protect the environment.
Water recycling is taking place all over the world, and Georgia is quickly emerging as a new water recycling hotspot. Check out these resources – or share them with your students – to get information and inspiration for the contest:
WateReuse is the only trade association that focuses solely on advancing laws, policy and funding to increase water reuse. Our niche strategy sets us apart from other organizations in the water industry.
