This webcast features opportunities to engage in the Leaders Innovation Forum for Technology (LIFT), a WE&RF/WEF initiative to accelerate innovation and new technology into practice. The webcast provides an overview of LIFT and outlines ways to benefit from the program. It includes training on LIFT’s new online innovation and collaboration platform “LIFT Link.”  The webcast also highlights opportunities to engage through new Utility Focus Groups on Water Reuse, Green Infrastructure, and other topics, as well as the LIFT SEE IT travel scholarship program, Technology Scans, National Test Bed Network, collaborative technology demonstration projects, and more.

Presenters

  • Jeff Moeller is the Director of Water Technologies at WE&RF where he has worked since 1997. Jeff directs the LIFT program and has over 20 years of experience in water quality engineering.
  • Dr. Aaron Fisher is the Technology and Innovation Collaboration Manager at WE&RF helping to accelerate the deployment of new water resource recovery technologies. He was most recently a contractor with Energetics to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), working with the Bioenergy Technologies Office.
  • Fidan Karimova is the Water Technology Collaboration Manager at WE&RF, in charge of bridging the gap between WE&RF utility subscriber needs and available technologies in the market. She has extensive knowledge of the innovation industry, having previously helped entrepreneurs from around the world transition from idea to implementation.
  • Justin Mattingly is a Research Manager at WE&RF focusing on treatment systems for potable reuse, industrial reuse, and water economics and finance. Prior to WE&RF, he completed a four year fellowship at the Environmental Protection Agency in the Clean Water State Revolving Fund program.
