28th Annual WateReuse Symposium to Present Latest Innovations in Water Reuse and Desalination

July 29, 2013

Alexandria, VA — The WateReuse Association, American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) will host the 28th Annual WateReuse Symposium in Denver, Colorado on September 15-18. The Annual WateReuse Symposium is the best place to learn about the latest innovations in water recycling and desalination. An early-bird registration discount is available through Friday, August 2 for water professionals eager to take advantage of this opportunity to learn, network, and share information.

“The Annual WateReuse Symposium offers a unique conference experience each year. Some of the foremost experts from the U.S. and around the world come together to focus on issues and opportunities surrounding water reuse and desalination. And this year’s Symposium is poised to be one of the best ever,” said Wade Miller, Executive Director of the WateReuse Association.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Quality Technical Program

The Symposium will include 111 technical presentations, along with seven panel and roundtable discussions on topics such as industrial reuse, water quality, produced water, direct potable reuse, decentralized reuse, desalination, sustainability, and much more!

Unique and Insightful Plenary Sessions

Plenary sessions include the following:
•A keynote address from Brad Udall, the Director of the Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy and Environment at the University of Colorado School of Law;
•National Legislative and Water Policy Outlook Session; and

The Exhibit Hall provides the ideal setting to learn about new products and services. Networking breaks, daily prizes, a reception, and a luncheon in the Exhibit Hall all allow you to connect with fellow attendees. Exhibitor forums—which are new this year— will provide face-to-face presentations and demonstrations.

Networking Opportunities

Since everyone at the 28th Annual WateReuse Symposium is focused on water reuse and desalination, this event provides a unique opportunity to learn and socialize alongside others working on similar projects. In addition to the daily networking, the Symposium offers the following social events:
•Welcome Reception
•An Evening at Coors Field (Monday Night)
•Dinner and Discovery at the Denver Zoo (Tuesday Night)
