WateReuse Congratulates Members Receiving Feasibility Study Grants

On Wednesday, September 27, the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) announced grant awards totaling $29 million for water reuse and desalination feasibility studies and planning projects to bolster water security in California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah. Of the 33 recipients, two thirds are WateReuse members. Congratulations to the following WateReuse members on their awards!

  • El Paso Water

Planning grants through the Bureau of Reclamation are intended to help entities conduct feasibility studies and other planning activities ahead of applying for construction grants through the Desalination Construction Program, Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Grants Program, and Large-Scale Water Recycling Projects Grants Program. The $28.97 million invested by BOR will be matched with $64.7 million from project sponsors, for a total investment of $93.7 million.
