Top Industry CEO’s Expect Growth in Water Recycling

Top CEOs in the water reuse sector agreed that there are incredible growth opportunities in water recycling during a round table discussion held on September 10 in Austin, Texas during the opening general session of the 33rd Annual WateReuse Symposium. Carollo CEO B. Narayanan indicated that his company’s business has seen continuous growth in the water reuse market and he expects that to continue. Cindy Wallis-Lage, President of Black & Veatch’s Global Water Business, emphasized the importance of integration, education, and innovation to develop successful water management strategies. Patrick Decker, CEO of Xylem, said that while water issues are intensifying, advances in technology are creating new possibilities. Heiner Markhoff, CEO of Suez Water Technologies & Solutions, emphasized that it is time to change our global thinking about water as a waste product to take control of our water future.
