Please join us on January 15th, 2022, at 9:00 am for a walk around the Hollywood Reservoir, hosted by the WateReuse California – Los Angeles Chapter Emerging Professionals Committee. Family and friends are welcome (but sorry, dogs are not permitted on the trail). We will meet at the Hollywood Reservoir South Gate. The walk around the reservoir is completely paved and approximately 3 miles long, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, hats, and sunscreen.
The Hollywood Reservoir was formed in 1924 by the construction of the Mulholland Dam. Both reservoir and dam are owned and managed by LADWP as part of the city of Los Angeles’s water storage and supply system. So in addition to the walk, LADWP will provide a guided tour of the dam and reservoir!
The walk is completely outdoors so masks are not required, but we do request social distancing be maintained.
