In June, the WateReuse Association’s Board of Directors approved Charter Agreements to establish two new WateReuse sections: New Mexico and Mid-Atlantic (representing Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia). These come on the heels of Charter approval for WateReuse South Carolina in December 2021. Water recycling technology is increasingly being used to solve issues beyond water scarcity, driving interest in the work of the WateReuse Association, including its advocacy work at the state and local levels for supportive water recycling policies. WateReuse is excited to be expanding its section reach in new states and regions, and appreciates the hard work of the founding members. WateReuse members can join these sections by purchasing a secondary membership. Section membership provides opportunities to connect with members in new regions, set section priorities, and provide development opportunities for your staff in the region. To learn more or to become a member of the new sections, please contact Membership Director Erin Carr.
