Late last week, the White House released a fact sheet providing updates on the recently launched “U.S.-Israel Strategic High-Level Dialogue on Technology,” which aims to foster collaboration between the United States and Israel on critical and emerging technologies. The fact sheet notes that National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Israeli National Security Advisor Dr. Eyal Hulata led the first meeting of the Dialogue in Washington, DC on September 28, and that at that meeting, “the two countries welcomed next month’s Water Reuse Mission to Israel, which will bring nearly 50 Federal, State, and local officials working on water issues from around the country to increase U.S.-Israel practical collaboration on water reuse policies, scientific research, and methods and technologies.” WateReuse will be co-hosting the delegation to Israel in late October along with the U.S. EPA and the Government of Israel. The five-day mission will include tours of water recycling and desalination facilities and meetings with Israeli officials, water managers, and businesses. |
