In this module you have learned about how to recognize and diagnose abiotic problems encountered in turf, trees, shrubs, and ground covers. The focus has been on irrigation with recycled water in relation to salinity and specific ions toxic to plants. You have also learned about management options that may help to solve these problems.
Keep in mind that not all problems encountered in landscape irrigation are due to the quality of the recycled water, that plants do vary in salt tolerance, and that plants may suffer injury or damage from abiotic (nonliving) as well as biotic (living) causes.
Congratulations! You have learned a great deal so far. Now may be a good time to return to the Main Menu, or to explore a subject in more detail by reading from one or more chapters in the literature-review document.
